Kenny's love affair with the automotive industry is a life long passion. Many of you may recognize his name through his life long participation in Motorsports. At the age of 19 he won the SCCA's Formula Ford National Championship, this Championship made him the youngest champion in that illustrious series long history. Kenny has traveled coast to coast in search of motorsports competition. During his 25 year career Kenny has been a competitor in the following series. USAC, TRANS AM, NASCAR'S SOUTHWEST TOUR, THE CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES and the BUSCH GRAND NATIONAL SERIES. Kenny's automotive passion came from his parents Art and Renee Hendrick, as Art was an accomplished racer as well and a regular competitor in the famous BAJA DESERT races. His parents passion for the automotive industry didn't stop at the races, They were amongst the first Volkswagen Dealers in America. Chances are if you bought a bug in the 60's in Los Angeles it came through the Hendrick's Atlantic Volkswagen. Kenny at an early age learned the automobile business at the knee of his Dad, something he is still proud of today.
